Wish you all success in the week ahead

Outside of the urban areas, rice paddies are a common sight in India there is little or no automated or motorized system of planting the rice and most of it is done manually. Bullocks are a common sight dragging ploughs as they trudge creating furrows in the earth, a few tractors could be seen among the well-to-do farmers. Water is streamed in by way of 'canals' or channels from a bore or an open well that fills up the ploughed 'troughs.
Farmers, holding cane or bamboo baskets walk up and down in the 'sludge' scattering seed (paddy) it is as if they didnt really care about what they were doing. (actually, as I understood later, there is a method in their ‘throwing’ madness)That done, they settle down until the seeds begin to sprout, until ready for transplanting. Not for one moment does the farmer doubt his ability to do the right thing, neither counting or measuring just ‘scattering’ nor does he doubt Providence for the rest of what needs to be ‘done’.

My son asked me “Dad, have you made any money with this on line work you’re doing’?
‘In good time ,Son’ I answered, “we’ll get the VW Vento I promised,’ he smiled.
And then I told him this:
Did any of these men know this?
Mark Twain predicted the Internet in 1898
James Barry predicted on line shopping in 1968
Jules Verne the Moon Landing in 1865
Total Recall predicted Full Body Scanners in 1990
Ray Bradbury the flat screen TV in 1953
Watson predicted prepacked meals in 1945
Star Trek predicted Bluetooth in 1966
Francis Ford Cappola predicted YouTube in 1991

Just like the ‘farmers’ I continue to give it all I’ve got, moving forward without waiting for the results, which I am confident, will come. For 'He who called me is faithful, for He cannot be unfaithful to himself'.
Wish you all success in the week ahead!!
